Movie Buffs, Enjoy Short Film Night at The Pantry, Kalagodha

After the success of several Short Film Nights at The Pantry, get ready for yet another interesting mix of short films this Friday from filmmakers across the globe. This Friday night, watch three short films that will keep your weekend with your friends extremely interesting, as The Pantry brings to you an exciting series on 29th November 2019, 8 pm onwards.

In association with Mac Productions and Shamiana Short Film Club, The Pantry will be screening three short films like Dreaming of Peggy Lee (UK), Katran (India) and Kalakaar (India) this Friday.

1) Dreaming of Peggy Lee (UK) – Directed by, James Evertt, It is based on Two children who escape their oppressive care home to sneak into a 1940’s Jazz club in London. Broadway-style, based on the songs and music of the iconic Peggy Lee. Absolute brilliance!. *Winner – Best live Action short – Chicago International Children’s film festival. Made in the UK.

2) Katran (India) – Directed by, Prem Singh, An old couple decides to end their 36 years of marriage because of their unresolved issues and this results in an eventful conversation between them on the way to the lawyer. Made in India.

3) Kalakaar (India) – Directed by, Bhavesh, Bhavika, Hardik, Khanak & Shivam, Its about a great artist suffers for his art! A hilarious mockumentary on the life of an artist in the city of Bombay by Jai Hind BMM Students. Made in India.
